On the 12th and 13th of February 2025, an auditor from LRQA carried out a planned two-day assessment (surveillance visit) at Andrews Fasteners Limited against the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, National Highway Sector Scheme 3 (NHSS 3) and the Construction Product Regulations – CPR (BS EN 15048 and BS EN 14399) for CE and UKCA marking.
Our company successfully demonstrated compliance with the requirements of the standards, and the auditor, without raising any observations or non-conformances, issued a further recommendation for continued certification to ISO 9001:2015, NHSS 3 and both construction product standards for Andrews Fasteners.
At this visit, our company went through an extension of the approvals to EN 14399-7 to include size M36 HR Countersunk Bolting Assemblies (previously, we had been limited to M30s for this type of product). Once our revised certificate is issued by LRQA, we will be able to offer this new type of product under CE and UKCA marking to our customers.
