Andrews Fasteners uses the following identification marks on its products:
- Bolts – FAST or AND.
- Nuts – FAST or AND. (EN 14399), A, FAST or AND. (EN 15048 and others)*
- Washers (where applicable) – FAST, AND. or none, where marking is not required.
Until stocks last, products may be supplied with markings previously used by the company, such as AF.
We also offer BS EN 15048 and BS EN 14399 products bearing the XYLX marking. These XYLX markings may be mixed and matched with our standard Andrews Fasteners markings (such as FAST, AND., etc.) within BS EN 15048 and BS EN 14399 assemblies. When supplied together, this combination of identification marks indicates that Andrews Fasteners Ltd is the manufacturer of the complete assembly, fully traceable to our company.
M24 HR Grade 10.9 bolts only, marked UBF 10.9HR, are manufactured for us under our Factory Production Control. When supplied with other components marked FAST, AND. etc., these identification marks combined indicate that Andrews Fasteners Ltd is the manufacturer of the assembly, traceable to our company. Any other products with UBF markings, not covered by this statement, may not necessarily be related to Andrews Fasteners as the manufacturer.
To verify the authenticity of your products, please review the traceability details, lot numbers, and associated documentation – such as 3.1 Test Certificates and the Declaration of Conformity for CE and UKCA marked products. These documents will clearly identify if the product is genuinely supplied by Andrews Fasteners and marked correctly.
